Selected Projects  -  Schools

Our experience with schools covers everything from conceptual design and master planning, through construction and commissioning.  We have also worked in many remedial / retrofit situations, fixing acoustical problems in existing buildings.

The main acoustical issues in schools include:
   - sound isolation between spaces such as classrooms, libraries and music rooms
   - sound isolation at operable partitions and surrounding conditions
   - room acoustics (reverberation control) in large spaces and multi-use rooms
   - building equipment noise and vibration control
   - PA system design for maximum speech clarity and good music reproduction

The following is a list of our project experience with schools in Alaska.  A list of additional projects from other states can also be provided.
